The imperfect solution to College Football Playoff's selection problem is to exclude the SEC

With three undefeated power conference teams, and Big 12 champion Texas owning a head-to-head victory over the fifth league winner, the College Football Playoff committee's decision shouldn't be that difficult. But the solution is complicated by the reputation of the SEC.
